Heritage Link has published an online guide to creating community projects relating to increasing access to heritage. It includes project planning guidance and sources of funding. Enjoying heritage gives everyone the opportunity to relate and engage with places and people. Unfortunately, groups within the population still feel that they do not have easy access to heritage, or think this is not for them. They may be people with disabilities, members of black and ethnic minorities groups, young people, or socially or geographically excluded citizens. Broadening access is about building bridges with everyone in order to give everyone the chance to engage in heritage activities. This resource is part of the work of Heritage Link to promote the building of capacity in the voluntary sector.
